Location
Location
This was one of the hardest parts of our production. We first decided that making our music video we would use the style of the music to create the ideal background or setting. We first had the idea to use a town or city to shoot in. but because our ideas of filming which involved a massive tracking shot we couldn’t and wouldn’t be able to without getting strange people walking into the shot or closing down a street.
We then moved on to the idea of changing the location to a suburban location. This would remove the possibilities of distractions by the public and because of the folky instruments that we were using it would fit with them as well.
the pictures above show our location, it is a quite part in stanton whict we found ideal for filming

Instruments
In our music video we wanted to incorporate something that grabs the audience attention. As a group we decided to use unusual instruments.
In the original song by train they use a ukulele for the intro. Now we decided that this wouldn’t have been a great idea as it wouldn’t have suited the dress code for our music video. Instead we decided to use a mandolin.
A mandolin is a small instrument that is in the same family as a lute. It can be played either with a plectrum or just being strummed with cords.
We also used a Cajon witch is a drum made out of ply wood. It is played by hitting the front face of the drum and gives a great sound

Ways of filming.
in our video we had to come up with a device that could pull off our massive tracking shot. to do this we made a bracket for this trolly(which isnt in the shot) so that the tripod holding the camara didnt fall off.
